There is no need to start with a 500 calorie diet. Our modified HCG program blends a limited caloric intake (starting at 1000 calories) with a ketogenic diet (20-60 grams of carbohydrates a day).

When the body consumes low carbohydrates it must start breaking down fat reserves to meet blood sugar needs. Ketogenic diets mean limited bread, rice, pasta, potatoes and corn. Of course this also means absolutely no soda, candy or processed snack foods. Fruit and complex vegetable carbohydrates are allowed in limited quantities.
